If Gran Canaria is one of those places that doesn’t strike you as a must-see, then I think you should take a couple minutes out of your day to watch this video.
Exploring this island is nothing short of magical. With our base in the cultural old town of Las Palmas, our trip took us from the dunes of Maspalomas to the to the mountainous Pico de las Nieves. (With lots of kitten-clad ports and sun-drenched streets in between.)
